CANTO
Canturo / Limbus / Caletto
SIRE: Canturo was the last approved son of never forgotten jumping sire Cantus. Via maternal sire Calando I, German champion 1984 with Karsten Huck, and the valuably bred Landego the thoroughbreds Pannier xx and Manometer xx come into his pedigree. As a five- and six-year old Canturo competed in the Bundeschampionate finals. Aged seven he reached the finals at the World Championship for young horses in Zangersheide. Eight years old, he won and was placed at CSI Wien, in Rome, La Baule and the Swedish Derby of Falsterbo. Nine years old, Canturo won in Spruce Meadows and was nominated for the Olympic Games. In 2004, among his first crop, he presented the winning sire Canto for the Holstein stallion approval. Canturo's integrated breeding value is established at 144 points and at that time he had more than 13 approved sons and 25 offspring competing at advanced level.
Cian O’Connor’s phenomenal jumping talent, Good Luck, is sired by Canturo.
